In this case of ectopic pregnancy, the ultrasound has been performed transvaginally. The details of the ultrasound are particularly well shown:
- The normal right ovary is seen
- The endometrium is thickened and there is fluid in the cavity. This has been called the pseudo-gestational sac
- The gestation sac is seen outside the uterus, next to the ovary. This is called the 'tubal ring'
